AKC TABLE BREEDS
Breeds that are customarily closely examined on a table. Table breeds are always judged on the ground. The breeds that are tabled are listed under their respective Group.
SPORTING: Cocker Spaniels, English Cocker Spaniels.
HOUND: Basenji, Beagle, Dachshund, Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, Whippet (optional).
WORKING: None.
TERRIER: Australian Terrier, Bedlington Terrier, Border Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, Smooth Fox Terrier, Wire Fox Terrier, glen of Imaal Terrier, Lakeland Terrier, Standard Manchester Terrier, Miniature Bull Terrier (optional), Miniature Schnauzer, Norfolk Terrier, Norwich Terrier, Scottish Terrier, Sealyham Terrier, Skye Terrier, Welsh Terrier, West Highland White Terrier.
TOY: All Toys
NON-SPORTING: American Eskimo Dog (all three sizes), Bichon Frise, Boston Terrier, French Bulldog, Lhasa Apso, Lowchen, Miniature Poodle, Schipperke, Shiba Inu, Tibetan Spaniel, Tibetan Terrier.
HERDING: Puli, Shetland Sheepdog, Cardigan Welsh Corgi, Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

AKC RAMP BREEDS
Breeds permitted to be judged on a ramp at AKC shows are: Clumber Spaniel; Basset Hound; Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen; Staffordshire Bull Terrier; Bull Terrier, Bulldog, Chow Chow.
Ramps may be used in emergency situations to judge any breed.
Breeds that use ramps are usually not permitted to be judged on a table due to their weight. An exception is the Whippet which can be judged on the table, ground or ramp.

AKC BREEDS DIVIDED BY VARIETIES
Cocker Spaniels, Beagles, Dachshunds, Bull Terriers, Manchester Terriers, Chihuahuas, English Toy Spaniels, Poodles, and Collies.

AKC BREEDS REQUIRING FULL DENTITION (Updated 12/26/06)

Full dentition is 42 correctly placed teeth, 22 in the lower jaw, 20 in the upper jaw. The breeds that require full dentition are listed under their respective Group. AKC Breed Standards requiring full dentition are:
SPORTING: German Wirehaired Pointer, Golden Retriever, Labrador Retriever, Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, Field Spaniel, Weimaraner.
HOUND: Borzoi.
WORKING: Bernese Mountain Dog, Black Russian Terrier, Doberman Pinscher, German Pinscher, Giant Schnauzer, Great Dane, Komondor, Kuvasz, Neapolitan Mastiff, Rottweiler, Standard Schnauzer.
TERRIER: Glen of Imaal Terrier, Manchester Terrier, Parson Russell Terrier, Welsh Terrier.
TOY: Chinese Crested (Powderpuff),Manchester Terrier (Toy), Toy Fox Terrier.
NON-SPORTING: American Eskimo (all 3 sizes), Bichon Frise, Tibetan Spaniel.
HERDING: Australian Shepherd, Bearded Collie, Beauceron*, Border Collie, Belgian Malinois, Belgian Sheepdog, Belgian Tervuren, German Shepherd Dog, Polish Lowland Sheepdog, Swedish Vallhund.

MISCELLANEOUS: Norwegian Buhund, Pyrenean Shepherd
